Privacy policy

The short version

• We collect only what we need to make, ship and bill your order.
• We don’t sell or share your personal information for advertising, and our site uses no advertising or analytics cookies.
• You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time.

1. What we collect

• Your ZIP code. When you read your water, the lookup happens in your browser: your ZIP code isn’t sent to us until you check out.
• Order details. Your name, email, shipping and billing address, the systems you choose, your water reading and your Part B dose.
• Payment details. Entered directly with Stripe, our payment processor. We see only the card brand, last four digits and expiry date.
• Account activity. When you sign in, skip, pause, change or cancel your subscription.
• Messages you send us.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and browser details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

2. How we use it

To make your formulation, process payments, ship your orders, run your subscription, send sign-in links and order emails, answer your questions, prevent fraud, and meet legal and tax obligations. We don’t send marketing emails unless you’ve opted in, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.

3. Cookies

We set one cookie, vetro_session, only when you sign in to Your account. It keeps you signed in for up to 30 days and is never used for tracking. Stripe sets its own cookies on its checkout pages to process payments securely and prevent fraud.

4. Who we share it with

Only with service providers who help us run Vetro, under contracts that limit how they use it:

• Stripe: payments, billing and receipts.
• Cloudflare: website hosting and security.
• Resend: sign-in emails.
• Our fulfillment and shipping partners: the name, address and order details needed to pack and deliver your order.
• Order-management tools we use to track orders.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or our customers’ safety, or as part of a sale or merger of our business.

5. How long we keep it

While your subscription is active, and afterwards for as long as we need it for tax, accounting and legal reasons (usually up to seven years for order and payment records). You can ask us to delete the rest at any time.

6. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, give you a copy, correct it, or delete it. Email [email protected] from the address on your account. We’ll respond within 30 days and won’t treat you differently for asking. Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states), you may have further rights under state law, and you may use an authorized agent. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Security

Our site is served only over encrypted connections, card details are handled by Stripe, and sign-in uses short-lived email links rather than passwords. No system is perfectly secure, and we’ll notify you if a breach affects your information as the law requires.

8. Children

Our site isn’t intended for anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. For a significant change, we’ll email our customers.
